Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 21, 2026

We use a small number of cookies to keep the platform secure, remember your preferences and understand how the product is used. This page lists every cookie we set and why.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let us remember your session, your theme preference and aggregate analytics about how the product is used.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

  • better-auth.session_token — keeps you signed in. Expires after 30 days. Cannot be disabled.
  • vm-csrf — protects against cross-site request forgery on form submissions.

Functional

  • theme — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Expires after 1 year.
  • vm-locale — stores your selected language. Expires after 1 year.

Analytics (consent-based)

  • _vm_analytics — first-party, privacy-preserving event counts. We do not fingerprint.

3. Managing cookies

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time from this page or your browser settings.

4. Third-party cookies

We do not embed third-party advertising trackers. Embedded support chat may set its own cookies — please see its provider's policy.

5. Updates

We will update this list whenever we add, remove or change a cookie. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
